Description: en This document is a photocopy facsimile of the nominal census of the population of the parish of Saint Bruno (Van Buren, Quebec) conducted by its resident priest, Father Pierre Stanislas Vallée in 1872. The census includes information about the location of the household, the names of its residents, their ages, the number of years of marriage of heads of household, birthplace, names of parents, occupation, and remarks. In addition, there are genealogical annotations by Guy F. Dubay of Madawaska, Maine. The cansus will be of interest to historical researchers and genealogists.
