Biography, Administrative History and Provenance: en This collection focuses on the four parishes that encompassed Franco-American life in Worcester, MA. These parishes opened and grew as the community grew, and later and the same community changed the parishes combined or were closed. The parishes were Notre-Dame-des-Canadiens, St. Joseph, Holy Name of Jesus, and St. Anthony of Padua. The collection mainly includes scrapbooks, images, and ephemera from these four parishes, as well as the research that Father Steven LaBaire compiled in wirting a history of St. Joseph Parish.
