- Late 19th century (1895) home belonging to a prominent Franco-American Doctor in Cohoes, NY. Home is currently for sale (as of May 2018) and undergoing some restoration work. Gaspard Upton Peltier (1849-1916) was named City Physician of Cohoes in 1914. He immigrated directly from St. Guillaume D'Upton, Quebec, Canada to Cohoes, NY. Married to Mary Nancy Forbes (she died in 1914). Address of home is 76 Congress Street.
