La collection se compose principalement d'articles documentant la communauté canadienne-française de la Nouvelle-Angleterre, tels que des journaux, des dépliants, des programmes, des calendriers et des notes sur l'histoire de l'immigration canadienne-française, tous rassemblés par Melvin B, professeur retraité de langues étrangères (français) à l'UMD. Joué. La collection comprend également une série d'enregistrements réalisés lors d'événements organisés par la bibliothèque publique des Amis de Fall River. Le professeur Yoken était impliqué dans cette organisation. Voir MC 106 pour un projet étudiant d'histoire orale supervisé par le professeur Yoken.
