A photograph of the interior of St. Joseph's Church, one of the "French" churches in Cohoes, NY. This beautiful church was incorporated in 1868, and construction was completed the next year. Sadly, the church was closed in 2009.
George Therien built this home in order for the family to move in by Christmas 1907. Anna was a teenager when this photo was taken. The home still stands and is located on Route 22, just outside Mooers, NY. From left to right: George, Anna, and Mary "Minnie" Therien
Photograph of the Therians and a friend in winter. From left to right: Mary "Minnie" Therien, Anna Therien, unidentified female, George Therien, possibly in Mooers or Chazy, NY.
Group photograph of Irene Lewis and her friends. All presumed to be fans of the Demers (perhaps a local amateur team or a church league). The family ran the Troy Daily Times for a while and were influential in Troy society. The photograph was probably taken at what is now Knickerbocker Park.
Photograph of Joseph Lalumiere, the father of Florence Sullivan, using a crutch while feeding chickens, probably in Queensbury, NY before 1922. Joseph passed away at a young age in 1922.
