• Beatrice Craig research materials circa 2005 - Finding Aid
  
  This collection consists of research materials collected and transcribed by Beatrice Craig. Included are notes on the Haldimand papers with references to the Saint John Valley and people who moved to the Valley; notes on "Cour des Playdoyers Communs" vs. the district of Quebec, arranged by docket number and included transcription of the trial to 1790; notes on the trial of an "Indian murderer;" notes on microfilm concerning New Brunswick Crown Land papers, land petitions, and Kennebecassis and the lower Saint John Valley; a list of contents and transcription of an account of Acadians by Simon, Hazen, and White; and miscellaneous notes. Also included are transcriptions by former Acadian Archives/Archives acadiennes archivist, Nick Hawes, as well as his general notes on the articles originally included in the collection, "info about people who went to Madawaska or people connected to Madawaska."
• Beatrice Craig Research Collection 1973 to 1993 - Finding Aid
  
  The research collection of Béatrice Craig (b. 1949), historian, professor, and author, consists of data on the history of the Upper St. John Valley for the period ca. 1785-1870. In 1992, Béatrice Craig offered to loan the Acadian Archives her collection for the purpose of creating a photocopy version. Additional materials were added the following year.

  Consists of 16 manuscripts, Professor Craig’s scholarship on the Upper Saint John River Valley of Maine and New Brunswick. Includes publications, working papers and research data.
• Aroostook County Parish Histories Collection - Finding Aid
  
  This collection consists of historical files on Aroostook County parishes compiled by Msgr. Philip E. Desjardins for the Diocese of Portland. Included are the histories of the parishes of Caribou, Eagle Lake, Fort Kent, Fort Fairfield, Frenchville, Grand Isle/Lille, Hamlin, Houlton, Limestone, Madawaska, Mars Hill, Presque Isle, St. Agathe, St. Francis, St. John, Sinclair, Stockholm, Van Buren/Keegan, and Wallagrass. The compilation was done from the following sources, Church World; Le Messager de Lewiston; Catholic Directory of Portland; L’Union; Chancery files; Bangor Daily News; Bishop Walsh’s diary; historical notes from different Reverends and parishes, etc.
• Alphie Marquis papers 1931 to 1982 - Finding Aid
  
  This collection consists of manuscript and typescript materials created or collected by Father Alphie Marquis. Most of the materials pertain to either his studies for the priesthood or preparation for sermons. Included are newspaper clippings, correspondence, handwritten study and research notes, publications, typescripts of study materials, and a typescript of Marquis’ memoir, Among My Souvenirs, published in 1980. The materials in this collection are primarily in French and Latin, with some English. They have been processed and foldered in the original order in which they were received by the archives, and titles from the original containers have been transcribed to the new folders.
• Russell Banks Papers - Finding Aid
  
  The literary papers of American writer Russell Banks span a fifty-year career from the early 1960s to 2012. The collection includes material for his novels and collected short stories, from notes and drafts of works to publication material and reviews, as well as screenplays written by Banks and by others based on his novels. Also present are shorter works, such as articles and essays, introductions, plays, poems, reviews, and short stories. The papers also contain extensive correspondence, articles about Banks, biographical information, diary notes, contracts, published material, and works by others.
